Halfway to Summer

Frannie watches the snow flakes fall--about two-thirty this morning.

By daybreak, there were seven inches on the ground. The sky was overcast and the snow continued relentlessly all day.

Irregardless of that, I think were going to have six more weeks of winter anyway.

That is such a familiar sight...curious cat watching out window, waiting for something exciting to come by. We had a snowfall this week with the beautiful coating of snow on the branches (similar to your second photo) and I think I enjoyed the view as much as our cats. In fact, it was also Wednesday when I posted photos of our curious cats and snow laden branches! Although the hot southern countries do have great weather, I believe I would miss the pristine winter perfection of fresh fallen snow. Thank you for the opportunity to see views into your life in Alaska!
