It was such a fabulous day, we just had to go for a drive.

The morning began with feathery cirrus against a blue, blue sky but by afternoon a layer of thin overcast has developed--just enough to given the sky a silver cast.




Mount Redoubt was steaming away on the far side of the Inlet. Resting, not sleeping.
