Some times it's the photos that don't quite turn out that are the most interesting.



Maggie turned away just as I clicked the shutter on her Christmas Day portrait.



I only captured the image of the wing of an over-flying eagle. Yet to me the part suggests so much more than the whole.



Venus and the frosted branches leave ghostly traces in the gathering night sky.
